May 20, 2019 Pandora today launched a new desktop app for Mac, aimed at all Pandora listeners across both its free and paid tiers. Similar to its mobile apps, Pandora for Mac allows for full access to Pandora.
- Pandora One Desktop App allows you to enjoy 100% ad-free high quality streams on your desktop at no extra cost. If you’re a paid Pandora subscriber, the Pandora One Desktop App is a great way to get more out of your subscription.
- Pandora on 32-bit and 64-bit PCs. This download is licensed as freeware for the Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system on a laptop or desktop PC from media players without restrictions. Pandora Radio 15.0.3.0 is available to all software users as a free download for Windows 10 PCs but also without a hitch on Windows 7 and Windows 8.
- May 21, 2019 The desktop app is accessible for users across all tiers, but it's only available for Mac at the moment. Pandora says a Windows version is 'coming soon,' though it didn't give a specific date for.
Bluetooth 2.0 mac app. Pandora One Desktop App allows you to enjoy 100% ad-free high quality streams on your desktop at no extra cost.
If you’re a paid Pandora subscriber, the Pandora One Desktop App is a great way to get more out of your subscription. Released as a competitor to the Spotify music app for Windows, One offers everything you know and love about Pandora on your phone and then some.
The best thing that we’ve noticed about this app so far is the fact that the music quality is noticeably higher than it is with the mobile app. This probably has something to do with compressing down quality on laggy data connections or to help people avoid exceeding their data cap by accident.
Get the same access to your old loves and new favorites with no ads, no waiting for the music to load, just music that you enjoy and the ability to skip and forget the music you don't.
Another advantage this app has over comparable services is the fact that you’re able to listen to music 100% ad-free. You’d expect to do that as a premium subscriber, but as you may already know that’s not always the case. Pandora has pledged to keep the music as high-quality as possible while nixing ads for paid subscribers using the app.
So if you’ve ever wanted to listen to music while at home without having to be attached to your phone, it’s a great way to do that. That being said though, it’s important to point out that you have to have a monthly subscription to Pandora to use the One Desktop App. If you’re still on a free trial you can use it, but if you’re just a regular free user you won’t be able to get any of the benefits of the Pandora One Desktop app.
Aside from being a subscriber only app, this high-quality ad-free offering is pretty stellar. If you’re already a Pandora subscriber you’ll love it, if you’re not you probably won’t see the benefit of signing up just to access the desktop app. You can always sign up for a trial though and see what all the fuss is about.

- Library of Millions of Songs You’ll get access to the large library of music you know and love on your phone.
- Fantastic Sound Quality Expect a huge bump in sound quality over the mobile app.
